- Experience shows there is much better consistency in drilling speed i.e. the variation of drilling speed is markedly reduced with milled point SDS vs the forged point counterparts.
- The gripping onto the metal sheet being driven is invariably more stable and faster due to the configuration of the milled point, thereby reducing the time required to grip and enter the metal sheet.
- In real life applications, operators in the field would require less pushing force to drill a milled point SDS than a forged point. This is a big plus and welcomed news for the operator.
